Program:
The use of tax insurance has grown rapidly in the context of M&A transactions. Many have heard of, or even used, the product to cover tax exposure related to deal (or non-deal) related tax risk. The panel will review the use of tax insurance to mitigate both U.S. international and foreign tax risk for multinational companies and tax exposure related to operations abroad.
Join us on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 12pm to 1:15pm. The panel will include a variety of perspectives from advisors, brokers and underwriters.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the fundamentals of tax insurance policies
- Be able to assess the types of tax risks (U.S. and non-U.S.) available for coverage
- Have a better understanding of the U.S. and foreign insurance markets and their approach to insuring tax risk
