Standing committee formed to work with academics and institutions to make them aware of IFA, to promote international taxation as a career choice, to develop and enhance international tax syllabi for use by educational institutions, to promote the USA Branch Writing Prize, to assist members in identifying and choosing graduate tax programs, and to generally help to bridge the gap between academia and tax practitioners.

Ad hoc committee formed to prepare and present the operating budget to the full Executive Committee for discussion and approval. Committee has responsibility to present opportunities to reduce annual costs with respect to operations.

Ad hoc committee formed to identify and analyze practices of other professional organizations with respect to type and amount of endowment reserves, and use of funds from endowment to support annual operations, and to make recommendations to maximize returns for IFA USA Branch with consideration as to appropriate risk and reward.

The Membership Committee, under the direction of the Chair, consists of the Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) and other active branch members. The Committee works with the Regional leadership to assess membership trends and present a product that emphasizes the relevance and benefits of IFA to potential members.

Standing committee established to provide a sense of continuity and assistance to organizers of the annual conference, regional meetings, and joint meetings for identifying topical subjects and helping with access to governmental speakers. It may also coordinate with the Congress Organizing Committee with respect to technical subjects.

Standing committee formed to work with IFA office staff and website programmers to enhance the functionality of website, to identify and fix problems, and to bring up-to-date content to increase value of the website to the IFA USA Branch community.

The Technology Committee is charged with helping the IFA USA Branch leadership to establish the website as a cornerstone for communications between meetings, with the objective of fostering a sense of community among members and enhancing IFA memb

The Young IFA Network (YIN) is a special committee within IFA that hosts events where younger (or recently joined) members of IFA can network with peers and become integrated into the IFA network of worldwide international tax professionals.
