The presentation will begin with an analysis of existing GILTI, FDII and BEAT issues that many U.S. multinational companies are facing today. Included in the presentation will be the GILTI high tax election and recent expense apportionment regulations impacting the foreign tax credit and FDII. The presentation will also include an analysis of anticipated changes under the Biden Administration, as well as how some U.S. multinational companies are reacting to and planning for such changes.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand GILTI, FDII and BEAT rules currently
- Understand particular tax issues many U.S. multinational corporations are currently dealing with under existing GILTI, FDII and BEAT rules
- Understand anticipated statutory and regulatory changes to GILTI, FDII and BEAT under the Biden Administration.
- Understand how some U.S. multinational corporations are considering reacting to such potential changes
