Please join us for the IFA USA Midwest Region Treasury Tax Roundtable taking place on Tuesday, June 4, at 10:00 a.m.
KPMG International, Tax, Accounting, and Advisory leaders will be facilitating discussions between attendees and sharing practical perspectives around treasury and tax considerations in the current economic environment, including:
- Risks and opportunities in a high interest rate environment,
- Common cash management solutions and global treasury structures,
- Aligning treasury strategy with tax efficiency, and
- FX considerations on intercompany lending.
Learning objectives:
• Participants should be able to define tax considerations on cross-border cash movement including foreign exchange gain or loss and withholding taxes. • Participants should be able to identify key tax technical considerations on the taxation of a foreign treasury center including the impact to GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits, and 163j limitations at the CFC level. • Participants should be able to identify how recent and proposed regulatory changes could impact an existing treasury structure from a tax perspective.
